The Cheese Box
The best part of heading to Walworth County is we have everything you think of when you think of Wisconsin. Grab some local cheese from The Cheese Box in Lake Geneva where they’ve been selling Wisconsin’s favorite snack for over 80 years.
But don’t stop with just the cheese, they also have sausages, jams, jellies, wines, and crackers — everything you need to make your next party tray or bring home from vacation.
East Troy Brewery
Head to East Troy Brewery for some fried cheese curds and a craft brew. East Troy Brewery’s unique and ever-changing menu (don’t worry…the curds are a year-round staple) always pairs perfectly with what they have on tap.
Located in a historic bank building in East Troy’s iconic town square, their laid-back, family friendly space is great for a dinner or a spot to hang out with friends. They also have a relaxing outdoor patio and live music on the weekends.
Mar’s Resort
Grab an Old Fashioned at Mar’s Resort and take in the beautiful view of Lake Como. Mar’s Resort is a classic supper club on the shores of Lake Geneva’s smaller neighboring lake to the north — Lake Como.
Mar’s has some of the best lake views in the county, and serves some of the best supper club dishes around, including Friday Fish Fry and steaks. And their BBQ ribs are a house specialty and local favorite you can’t pass up.
Duesterbeck’s
Stop at Duesterbeck’s Brewing Company for a craft beer brewed right on the property — which is an actual 150-year-old family farm just outside of Elkhorn. Duesterbeck’s small-batch, hand-crafted, Wisconsin-inspired beers provide the best flavor and variety.
Grab a beer, some snacks (you HAVE to get their giant soft pretzel), and head out to the patio for some summer sun and live music.
The Duck Inn
For a classic Friday Fish Fry head to the Duck Inn Supper Club in Delavan. The historic supper club is on all the top Wisconsin supper club lists for its great food, classic drinks, and unique history.
The name, The Duck Inn, first originated during prohibition when it was a speakeasy and visitors would “duck in” for a quick drink.
